The Nepali Army has reconstructed the Badimalika temple in Bajura. With the approved drawing design and technical support of the Department of Archeology and the coordination of Triveni Municipality located in Bajura, the reconstruction of the temple was completed in two months.
According to the army, the reconstruction started on Chait 28, 2081 was completed on June 23, according to the purpose of protecting, improving and promoting the temple.
Amid various challenges including adverse weather, geographical difficulty, the army said that the reconstruction work was completed with the help of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Department of Archeology, Triveni Municipality, Badi Malika Municipality, temple priests, Daksha Kaligad and locals.
Even during the reconstruction, the temple was opened to devotees. Located at a height of more than 4200 meters above sea level, Badimalika is a temple with historical, archaeological and religious significance.
