7 goats died due to electric current in Badikedar Rural Municipality-3 Jaisibaz. Locals have said that while the goats were grazing in the forest, the goats of local Bhim Bahadur Saud and Bhagiram Saud died on the spot due to a sudden electric current.
According to the Khadyuli police station, the detailed information about the incident will be known only after the police investigation. Bhairav Bahadur Saud, Chairman of Badikedar Rural Municipality, said that electricity is flowing during the rainy season due to hanging wires, hanging on tree leaves and fallen poles.
Some time ago in Ward No. 4 Mannakapadi, he died due to electrocution. He also said that there is a need for serious investigation by the stakeholders as there may be human casualties if such negligence occurs. According to
sources, due to the use of inferior materials and poor quality work of construction professionals, unnecessary electricity flows and innocent animals and people get electrocuted.
