9 absconding defendants have been arrested in Kailali on the same day. A joint police team deployed from District Police Office Kailali and Ward Police Office Dhangadhi arrested them as part of the operation to arrest the absconding defendants.
According to the police, eight absconding defendants who were found guilty in various cases by the Kailali District Court on Wednesday and fined Rs 82,000 have been arrested from different places in the district and produced before the court.
Along with this, a person who is absconding in an active check dishonor case has also been arrested, the police said. He has been detained by the court with an extension of 7 days.
According to District Police Office Kailali, this campaign will be made more effective and stronger to bring the fugitive defendants to justice. The police said that such actions will be carried out regularly.
