Far Paschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah's directive to Industry Tourism Forestry and Environment Minister Rameshwar Chaudhary, who is a member of his cabinet, has been stalled.

On the contrary, Minister Chaudhary has challenged the Chief Minister to 'fire him if he can'. Chief Minister Shah had telephoned him a week and a half ago on June 3 and instructed him to resign from the post.

Chief Minister Shah had asked for the resignation of Minister Choudhary expressing dissatisfaction with his style of work. But Chaudhary did not agree. Chief Minister Shah has not been able to take 'any action' for nine days against Minister Chaudhary who disobeyed the instructions.

In the Far West, there is a joint government of UML and Civil Immunity under the leadership of Congress. In the current system, since the Chief Minister has the authority to retain or remove any minister, the Chief Minister's own instructions are now weak.

Chief Minister Shah's political advisor Jitu Upadhyay said that the Chief Minister is taking necessary discussions seriously. Chaudhary was appointed as a minister on 4th of June from civil emancipation. Ranjita Shrestha, president of Civil Liberation Party, said that Minister Chaudhary will not resign.

'If the Chief Minister dismisses him, it will happen to him. But the party has decided not to force Rameshwar Chaudhary to resign," said President Shrestha Chaudhary. According to Chief Minister Shah's secretariat, Chief Minister Shah has been dissatisfied with Minister Chaudhary's failure to maintain financial discipline during budget preparation, and not giving any information when appointing executive director in Khaptad Region Tourism Development and Management Committee.
