All the nine local levels of Kanchanpur have presented the policy, program and budget for the coming financial year. All the local levels have continued the program of the previous year.
Bhimdatta municipality, the oldest in the district, has passed a budget of 1.93 billion rupees in the 17th Municipal Assembly on Tuesday. Priority has been given to education, health and agriculture sectors from giving scholarships to daughters and daughters-in-law in higher education.
Similarly, Bedkot Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 986.5 million on Tuesday. Education, health and other sectors have been given priority in policies and programs. Dodhara-Chandni municipality has already passed the budget of 76 million rupees on Sunday itself. Two rural municipalities, Beldandi and Lalzhadi, have also continued the previous year's program. Policies, programs and budgets have been introduced with some catchy slogans. Beldandi has brought a budget of Rs 545 million and Laljhadi Rs 4365 million.
