The police have released the brother-in-law who was arrested on the charge of murdering his brother-in-law in Gauriganga Municipality-7, Kailashpur, Kailali.

The brother-in-law Naveen Nath, who was involved in the murder of 20-year-old midwife Tulsi Nath, was made public on Sunday after the local police office Malakheti investigated the incident and identified the culprit. Last Friday morning, the death of Tulsi, who was found dead in the drain in front of her house, became a mystery. DSP Ran Bahadur Chand, head of Malakheti Police Office, informed that Tulsi was killed by slitting her nose, mouth and throat while she was sleeping after investigation.

According to the police, after the murder, Naveen removed the gold jewelery and threw the body in the drain. The police said that the jewelry was found hidden under a stone near the house. 

The deceased Tulsi gave birth to a son only 16 days before the murder. The police said that the baby was not harmed and the condition is normal. The deceased's husband is in India for employment. Tulsi was killed when no one was at home. According to the police, the investigation in the case of duty killing against Naveen Nath is going on.

Chief SP Balnarsingh Rana of District Police Office Kailali has announced that the investigation team of Malakheti area police office will be awarded tomorrow for the successful investigation of the incident. 'The incident was very complex and sensitive. But a team of 9 people under the command of DSP Ran Bahadur Chand has succeeded in identifying the culprits through excellent investigation, SP Rana said, "We will reward this investigation team tomorrow."
