A pregnant woman has been found dead in Kailashpur located in Gauriganga Municipality-7. 19-year-old Tulsi Nath was found dead near her home.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Singh, spokesperson of the District Police Office, informed that the incident is being investigated. Ran Bahadur Chand, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Ila Police Office Malakheti, who reached the spot, said that Nath, who was found dead, was in labor.

Nath was found dead in the drain in front of the main gate of the house. Deputy Superintendent of Police Chand said that her 16-day-old newborn baby (son) is still alive.
