An old man has died in a fire in Gauriganga Municipality-10 Jawalpur of Kailali.
Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police of Malakheti Ran Bahadur Chand informed that his 72-year-old father Kukru Dagaura Tharu, who was sleeping on the upper floor of the shed, died on Sunday night when a fire broke out in the two-story wooden shed of Anil Chaudhary.
After receiving the information about the fire, the team led by Police Deputy Inspector Khemraj Pant reached the spot and extinguished the fire. The police said that the cause of the fire could not be revealed. Chowdhury's shed has been completely destroyed by fire.
