A fire broke out in a house in Doti. District Police Office Doti said that a house was partially damaged in a fire in Shikhar Municipality-6 Kot village on Saturday afternoon.

Ganesh Bahadur Balayar's two-storied four-story stone-mud house caught fire at around 3:30 p.m. due to an electrical short.

Clothes, food, dishes, wooden furniture in a room on the upper floor of the house were destroyed by fire.

The police have informed that the fire has been fully controlled with the help of local residents.

According to the police, an estimated loss of Rs 150,000 has been caused by the fire.
