Five points have been agreed between the government of Far West Province and the protesting local level employees. It has been agreed to introduce a 'Bill to regulate the formation, operation and service conditions of local services'.
In the discussion, under the direction of Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, a team including Infrastructure Development Minister Surendra Bahadur Pal, Member of Parliament Vikramsingh Dhami and Member of Parliament Chakra Bahadur Rawal and on behalf of the employees Jhalak Bahadur Taul and member Indra Rawal of the Local Level Staff Struggle Committee were present on behalf of the state government. With the
agreement, the employees have suspended the protest program. The provincial government has committed to issue the bill as soon as possible to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the Far West Province Local Service, which has been approved by the Council of Ministers and has been submitted to the Provincial Assembly.
