The leadership of the Maoist parliamentary party in the Far Western Province has changed. Now this responsibility will be handled by Khagraj Bhatt.
A meeting held on Thursday night at the guest house of Dadeldhura land and water resources office decided to make Bhatt the leader of the parliamentary party.
The meeting was held on the eve of the inauguration of the 'Maoist with Janata: Madhyapahari Lokmarg' campaign, which is to be launched from Patan, the Maoist center Baitadi. Top leaders along with Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal participated in the meeting.
According to Umesh Bhatt, coordinator of Dadeldhura District Working Committee, the meeting removed the former leader Man Bahadur Dhami from the majority and re-elected Bhatt as the leader of the party.
Earlier on 12 January 2080, Khagraj Bhatt was removed and Dhami was made the leader of the party. However, since then, President Dahal has been giving instructions to change the leadership of the parliamentary party. After his written and verbal instructions were repeatedly ignored, Dahal himself reached Dadeldhura and decided to change the leadership.
