A 'refresh center' has been established at Syaule in Dadeldhura for drivers, co-drivers and passengers. The refresh center was inaugurated by Saraswati Khadka, Minister of State for Social Development of Sudurpaschim Province on Sunday.
Speaking after the inauguration, Minister Khadka said that the cooperation of all parties is necessary to strengthen peace and security in the district. He said that the police are fulfilling their responsibilities based on the service facilities received so far and that the provincial government is ready to provide necessary assistance in the future.
Expressing concern about the growing problem of drugs in particular, she urged the local governments to be responsible. In the program, she handed over 100 drug check kits to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shugandh Shrestha of District Police Office Dadeldhura said that a 'Refresh Center' has been built in Syaule, the center of 7 hilly districts in Far West, with the aim of giving rest to drivers and passengers during the journey.
