One person was killed and 6 others were injured in an accident last night on Bhimdatta Highway in Melkhola, Zorayal Rural Municipality-2, Zorayal Rural Municipality-2, Doti, on the way to Purchaudi in Baitadi from Dhangadhi.
According to District Police Office Chief Vinod Sharma, 45-year-old Hark Bahadur Negi died in the accident. Negi, who was seriously injured in the accident, was declared dead by the doctors of Maya Meto Hospital in Dhangadhi.
27-year-old Dhirendra Negi, 44-year-old Jagdish Joshi, 53-year-old Ram Bahadur Negi, 65-year-old Dhana Negi, 28-year-old Bir Bahadur Negi and the driver 24-year-old Ashok Bam of Baitadi Dilasaini Rural Municipality-4 were injured. Among the injured, 65-year-old Dhana and driver Bomb are in serious condition. The injured are being treated at Seti Provincial Hospital.
