A young man died on the spot when a loaded gun went off while playing hunting in Badikedar Rural Municipality-2 Barchen of Doti.
On Thursday evening, 24-year-old Naresh Sarki of Badikedar Rural Municipality-2 Barchen went to the forest to play hunting. District Police Office Doti said that he died on the spot when Bharuwa's loaded gun went off and he was shot in the chest.
According to the police, a loaded gun carried by 48-year-old Kamal Singh Khadka, a resident of Badikedar-1 Razeda, hit a tree and the gun exploded. At the same time, Naresh Sarki was shot in the right chest and died on the spot, according to the police.
Police said that the incident site is on the bank of Bedupata River located in Badikedar Rural Municipality-1. After the incident, the police arrested 10 people suspected to be involved in the incident.
According to the police, Kamal Singh Khadka, Khem Khadka, Singh Khadka, Tejendra Bhat, Amar Shah, Chakra Bhat, Sunil Bam, Ganesh Gharti Magar, Man Bahadur Shah and Jules Namjali Magar have been detained.
