One person has died due to tipper collision in Darchula. According to the police, 55-year-old Harsingh Airi, a local, died after being hit by a tipper in Naugad Rural Municipality-5, Saukebagad.

According to the District Police Office, Darchula, Ba. 3 Ch. Airi died on the spot when tipper number 2399 hit him on Sunday afternoon. 

Tipper driver Suraj Tamang, 24 years old from Chainpur Municipality Ward No. 7 of Sankhuwasabha, was detained by Police Inspector Chat Bahadur Rawat. According to the police, further investigation is being conducted on the incident. .
