27 houses were burnt in the fire that broke out on Tuesday night in Jaigarh Bazar in Bannigadhi Jaigarh Rural Municipality. Property worth more than seven crore rupees has been destroyed in the fire.
In the main market, the IME center operated by Pushparaj Sharma was destroyed by the fire that spread when a cylinder exploded. In 11 of the 27 burnt houses, local traders operated shops.
Ishwari Prasad Bhandari, Chief of Police of Achham, informed that the damage caused by the fire is estimated to be more than seven crore rupees and said that the details of the damage will be collected from the victims as soon as possible.
