9 people have been arrested with drugs from different places in Kailali. The police arrested them with drugs that looked like brown heroin.

Those arrested are 20-year-old Suresh Bista of Bedkot Municipality-8 of Kanchanpur, 23-year-old Lokendra Chand of Bhimdatta Municipality-10, 19-year-old Rijan Kathayat of Dipayal Silagadi Municipality-8 of Doti and 18-year-old Ashika Sijapati of Milan Chowk-3 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis. Based on the special information that drug dealing is taking place at NS Hotel in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3 Chattakpur  The police arrested him. 3 grams of 760 milligrams of brown heroin was recovered from them.

The temporary police post assigned to Ward No.-4 Shivpuri tol also arrested Reshmi Karki (29), Kiran Magar (24) and Sujan Khadka (19) of Dipayal Silgarhi Municipality-6 of Doti. According to the police, 50 milligrams of brown sugar-like brown powder was found with Reshmi Karki.

Meanwhile, in Bhajani Municipality-8 Janakpur, the team deployed from Bhajani police station has recovered 60 milligrams of drugs from Amit Chaudhary (22) who lives there, 30 milligrams more from his house and 280 milligrams from the 18-year-old boy who was with him. Kailali District Police Office has informed that further investigation is being conducted against the persons arrested in all related incidents.
