One person died in a mini truck accident in Doti. The police said that a mini truck accident took place in Badikedar rural municipality-3 Deuthan around 12:30 noon today.

According to the Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Doti, Vinod Sharma, 27-year-old Santosh Gurung of Badikedar Rural Municipality-3, Dewal, died when the vehicle overturned on the side of the road.
Gurung died on the spot after being crushed by the wood in his truck and Community Forest President Lok Bahadur Palli Magar who was riding in the same truck was injured, the police informed. Ward member of Badikedar Rural Municipality-3 Prakash Lama informed that the injured are being treated at the local health center Moolichaur and their condition is moderate.
Truck driver Badikedar Rural Municipality-2, Barchain, 29-year-old Gopal Badela is being searched for, the police said.
