The Sunday meeting of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly, which has been continuously disrupted for about three weeks, has also been disrupted. As soon as the meeting started, the Speaker of the House Bhim Bahadur Bhandari asked one of the MPs to speak when the opposition MPs stood up in protest.

RPP MP Khemadevi Bista made a statement. During that, she objected to the fact that a week and a half ago, some MPs of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly participated in a formal program organized in Uttarakhand, India and also held a meeting with the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, without informing the Provincial Assembly, and demanded a written reply to the Provincial Assembly. She asked who gave the permission to the uninformed MP to meet with the Chief Minister of India?

Last Friday, five MPs from Far West participated in the official program of the Indo-Nepal International Trade Fair and Tourism Festival held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. According to Speaker Bhandari, none of them had informed the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

Former Chief Minister and leader of UML parliamentary party Rajendrasinh Rawal, Chairman of Legislation and Provincial Affairs Committee and Congress MP Diwansingh Bista, Chief Whip of Congress Vikramsingh Dhami and MP Madhu Bharti, MP Jankidevi Kunwar of Maoist Center and MP Prakash Rawal of United Socialist Party went to Dehradun to participate in the formal program. During that time, apart from former Chief Minister Rawal, four MPs also had a formal meeting and discussion at the residence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkarsingh Dhami against diplomatic dignity.

MP Bista brought up the issue of Lakshman Kishore Chaudhary's resignation on the instructions of Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah after being accused of financial transactions on Saturday.

Even after MP Bista gave his speech, opposition MPs continued their protest. They are demanding that the Chief Minister give an answer in the Provincial Assembly about the various decisions they have taken to increase the expenditure.
