Accidental death while walking. Nothing but water bottle in hand.  On Monday morning, 60-year-old Ghoplu Luhar of Junichande rural municipality-9 Panchala was found in a similar situation at Gaddachouki, the western border. He, who works as a mason in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India, reached Jenten Gaddachouki empty-handed after he was robbed while returning home.

The blacksmith, who had reached Haldwani two months ago in search of work, was returning home for the New Year. He was returning home with not only his own but also his children's earnings. He was robbed by 4 Nepalis who were found in Haldwani bus park. "We are also from there, if we go together on the bus," Luhar said, "the four of them joined hands in the bus park and robbed everything." He said that they did not tell anything about their names and addresses. Luhar used to work as a mason in Haldwani. His daughter is in Nainital. One son is in Garhwal. He came with some money given by them. They also bought new clothes for the family. "Only the clothes on the body were left, they also took off the shoes," he said.
