'Free nature guides have been arranged for tourists visiting the park during the week-long festival,' he said, 'The first 100 vehicles (private and safari) have been made free as an incentive to tourists.'

Tourist professionals say that as Shuklaphanta is an attraction destination for tourists to enjoy nature, emphasis should be placed on its promotion. "In order to bring in domestic and foreign tourists, it is necessary to spread publicity at the national and international level," said Ramchandra Regmi, president of the Kanchanpur Hotel Association.

He said that it is expected that the festival will help to develop Shuklaphanta, a rare animal found in the world, as a destination for domestic and foreign tourists. 

Shuklaphanta National Park Mahanand Joshi said that although Shuklaphanta is an attractive destination for tourists, the number of tourists is low due to lack of publicity. At a distance of 24 km from the entrance of Shuklaphanta National Park, there is a large grassland of Shuklaphanta. In the area where you can see a herd of hundreds of elephants at the same time, he said, "It is not only a place for wildlife, but also a famous place for rare plants."

According to him, Shuklaphanta also has wild animals like stork, khar majur, sim titra, rajadhanesh and lesser bhudiphor, which are considered rare in the world. In which there are tigers, one-horned rhinoceros, two-horned elephants, krishnasar, salak, nilgai, cheetah, laguna, ratua, hispid rabbit, wild boar, etc.

Shuklaphanta National Park spread over an area of ​​three hundred and five square kilometers is known for its twelve horns. There are more than 2,200 elephants in the park. Tourists who visit here can see a large number of twelve-horned herds. Similarly, there are 25 wild elephants, 16 one-horned rhinoceros, and 42 leopards. 

"The world's largest grassland is also a feature of the park, 19 percent of the park's area is grassland," Joshi said, "Mammals such as wild elephants, tigers, leopards, rhinoceroses, zarayos, chitals are the main wildlife of this park, while crocodiles are abundant in Rani Lake and other small lakes." 

According to him, there are more than 461 birds that are migratory and migratory. In Shuklaphanta, Ksheu Piparia has an elephant. You can ride elephants there. Jungle safari on elephants is also available according to the time of the visitor. He said that in the one-week festival, cleanliness in the park area, essay competition and interaction with Nepal-India tourism businessmen and travel businessmen were also organized.
