A headmaster died after falling from a cliff in Apihimal rural municipality-6 of Darchula.
35-year-old Dalveer Mahara, the headmaster of Bhawani Basic School, died after falling from a mountain on Friday, according to the rural municipality.
Marma Rural Municipality-2 Mahara died after falling from a hill while returning home from school. According to Apihimal rural municipality chairman Bhaktasinh Thekere, Mahara fell about 50 meters down from Bhir and died on the spot.
Bhagatsih Thekere, president of Apihimal village, said that Mahara, who fell down about 150 meters from the mountain, died on the spot. In the deceased Mahara's house are his wife, two sons and two daughters.
