Mahakali Lokmarg has been blocked for three days after a dry landslide occurred in Thanyakatha Bhir located in Mahakali Municipality-5 Kimtadi. After the closure of the public road near the headquarters, the local citizens are facing problems in transportation.
On Friday morning, the road was blocked after the cutting machine fell in the landslide due to a dry landslide. Locals are complaining that they are not interested in opening the main road connecting the district headquarters after it was blocked. As the road is blocked, long and short distance passengers and cargo vehicles are stranded.
All passengers, sick and school children are having problems in transportation. Mahesh Bhatt, a resident, said that after the road was blocked, citizens traveling to and from the headquarters for work had to walk on difficult roads.
It has become very difficult for students, elderly people and patients to walk. "Children studying in Sadarmukam schools have to be carried on their backs," said Bhatt.
