6 people were seriously injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi. According to the police, 6 people were seriously injured in the accident of Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Ch 4028 jeep in Sigas Rural Municipality-1 Madaum on Saturday morning.
According to District Police Office Baitadi, the jeep was going from Ganan to Irana when the accident happened in Madau of Sigas Rural Municipality-1.
Jayanti Dhami, 40-year-old Tulsi Dhami, 16-year-old Nira Dhami, 19-year-old Parvati Dhami, 18-year-old Kamala Dhami and 14-year-old Dhauli Dhami from Sigas Rural Municipality-1 Irana were injured in the jeep accident, Baitadi Police spokesperson Balram Pandey said.
According to the police, the jeep fell 500 meters from the road. Baitadi Police said that the condition of all the injured is serious and they were rescued and sent to Dadeldhura Hospital for immediate treatment. There were 8 passengers including the driver in the jeep. The cause of the incident is being further investigated.
