A woman has died due to a jeep collision in Pandusain of Budhinanda Municipality of the district. 60-year-old Rupisawa Dhami, who was walking on the road, was seriously injured when a jeep number 01-001-4430 coming from Kolti to Martadi hit her.
Dhami, who was living at the house of Budhinanda-10 and was staying at her daughter's house in Budhinanda-9, Pandusain, died on the way while being taken to Kolti Basic Hospital for treatment, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Giri of the District Police Office.
The district police office said that the jeep driver who hit the woman has been detained and the investigation has been started.
