Minister of State for Economic Affairs of Sudurpaschim Province Prakash Bam was injured in a vehicle accident.

Police Inspector of Kailali District Police Office Darshan Khadka informed that the motor of State Minister Bam Sawar Province 3-01-024 Cha Namba met with an accident near Palia Bazar in India on Saturday evening.

 The state minister's wife Kalpana Bam and aide Padam Deuba were injured in the accident. All the injured are undergoing treatment at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi. The state minister's condition is normal.  The accident happened while returning from shopping in Palia market in Khiri district of India.
