Along with the rain, there has been snowfall in the hilly districts of Far West province including Baitadi. It has snowed in Gwallek Khodpe, Anarkhali, Dholyamod, Sigas, Melauli and other high-lying places of the district.
Chief of Police, Police Inspector Janakraj Dhungana informed on behalf of Baitadi that there was snowfall along with rain in the high Lekali area . Along with Baitadi, there has been snowfall in the hill districts including Dadeldhura and Doti.
It's getting colder due to snow and rain. Life is also affected due to the cold. Daily wage workers, children and the elderly have been more affected.
Farmers are happy after rain and snow. Due to the drought, when the winter crops are about to dry up, the rain and snow have brought happiness to the crops.
