A student studying in Gyaneshwar Secondary School located in Patan Municipality-9 of Baitadi has died due to suffocation. Kalusingh Bhat, Ward President of Patan Municipality-9, said that 14-year-old Apil Bista, who was studying in class 9, died at the Technical Dhar of Surnaya Rural Municipality-5 Dhulidhargaon.
Bisht, who was staying in Dera, went to sleep in his room after having dinner on Friday night. It is assumed that he died of suffocation as he was living alone in a room and took fire coal in a tin pot.
Ward president Bhat said, 'Bishta has been sleeping with the door closed at night. Since there is only one window in the room and it is also covered with glass, we have assumed that he died of suffocation.'
Bishta was found unconscious after breaking the door of the room. Ward president Bhat said that when he was taken to Dadeldhura hospital for immediate treatment, the doctor declared him dead.
