Congress candidate Dhirendra Pujara has won as the ward president of Surma Rural Municipality-4 of Bajhang.
Pujara has got 657. His closest competitor, UML candidate Lathichandra Bohra, got 487 votes. Here, Maoist Center candidate Pushkar Bohra got 17 votes.
UML had won here earlier. There were 1,554 voters and 1,178 votes were cast in the by-election held on Sunday on Surma 4.
