The 18th Shahid Bhim Narayan Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament is being contested between the host Shahid Bhim Narayan Memorial Foundation, Dhankuta, and Belbari Football Club, Morang.
Belbari secured a place in the final by defeating Birtamod United Football Club, Jhapa, by a 3-0 margin in the second semi-final match held at Tallo Tundikhel, Dhankuta headquarters, on Friday.

King, who scored the first goal in the 29th minute of the game, scored another goal in the injury time of the first half to give the team a 2-0 lead. He completed his personal hat-trick by scoring again in the 31st minute of the second half.
Salman King, who performed well, was named the 'Man of the Match' of the game. He received a cash prize of Rs 6,000.
In the first semi-final match held on Friday, the host Dhankuta defeated Sahalesh Football Club of Siraha by a 1-0 goal margin to book their place in the final. Amit Besra scored the decisive goal for the host.
The final match of the tournament will be held on Saturday, according to the organizers. The title-winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 600,000 along with a trophy, medal and certificate, while the runner-up team will receive Rs 300,000.
The ‘Player of the Match’ is being awarded Rs 6,000 in each match of the tournament. The organizers have also stated that awards will be given to the best player and the best players in various categories in the tournament.
