Suman Shrestha of Dhankuta has been appointed as the head coach of the U-19 national women's football team. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) gave Shrestha the responsibility of the head coach on Tuesday.
ANFA has appointed Shrestha as the team leader on the eve of the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship football tournament. The SAFF U-19 Women's Championship football tournament will be held in Pokhara from Magh 17 to 24. Shrestha said that ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai has signed him as the head coach of the national under-19 women's football team. Shrestha has previously served as the head coach of football teams including Church Boys, Himalayan Sherpa, Pokhara Thunders, and Armed Police Force's APF.
