Mithila Warriors won the third edition of the Madhesh Premier League cricket tournament. Mithila Warriors under the captaincy of Dipendrasingh Airy won the title by defeating Saptari Balanbihul by 5 wickets in the final match at Pavimawi Stadium in Rajviraj, Saptari.

After winning the toss, Balan Bihul lost all the wickets in 19 overs and made a total of 153 runs. For Balanbihul, captain Vivek Yadav scored 45 runs with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes, Lokesh Bam scored 41 runs, Sujan Thapalia scored 28 runs and Firdosh Ansari scored 15 runs.

On the bowling side, Vasant Khatri of Mithila Warriors took 3 wickets, Sher Mall and Kushal Bhurtel took 2 wickets each and Nandan Yadav took 1 wicket. Mithila Warriors, who came to the field with a target of 154 runs, lost 5 wickets in 18 overs and 3 balls and captured the title. Kushal Bhurtel's excellent batting and scored the highest 58 runs, the team came close to victory.

Similarly, another bat Ravi Shah contributed 44 runs and Basir Ahmed 25 runs. On the bowling side, Vivek Yadav and Araniko Yadav took 2 wickets each.
