On Friday morning, online news was used to collect the news of Rajawadi in Tinkune. As I write for the education bit, I was given an 'assignment' by the newsroom to follow up on the Genji generation participating in the demonstration. The mood of the demonstration deteriorated around 2 pm. Two houses away from the house where the fire took place, there were some policemen in Chep.

The royalists started attacking the police. I followed them there. A young man grabbed a policeman's gun. I managed to take 2/3 photos. I also shot a 6 second video. Those youths who took away the policemen's guns and others saw me following and abused them by saying, 'Are you the CID?' I was taking a video from my mobile phone, they pushed me. I fell and hurt my leg. I took the scooty after the office meeting in the morning to go to the field.

I kept the scooty near the three-corner post. It was not possible to come back to Bagmati Bridge from Tinkune Chowr. At that time, tear gas and stone pelting had started in that area. The arson had started at a private house in Tinkune.

I proceeded towards Bagmati river from Parisdanda through the road leading to Koteshwar. Protesters were also seen setting fire to vehicles there. From there I went around the Bagmati river and reached the place where the scooty was kept. I rode a scooty and came to the office of Online Khabar in Buddhanagar. When I took off my shoes and socks, I noticed that my right leg was swollen. Two colleagues working in accounts took me to Everest Hospital in Baneshwar. X-rays and CT scans revealed a fractured bone. Due to curfew in the evening, it was not possible to get plastered at the hospital and go home to Mulpani. I am resting at my relative's house in Koteshwar.
