Based on the information that there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall here today and tomorrow, the Hydrology and Meteorology Division has requested drivers, co-drivers and passengers of public and private vehicles using the north, south, east and west entry and exit routes of the Kathmandu Valley to exercise caution.
The office has issued a travel alert to avoid traveling at night as much as possible, update yourself on weather details if necessary, and take vehicles on the road only after obtaining prior information from the local administration about road conditions.
