It is a tradition to show the Bhoto on the fourth day when Machhindranath's chariot is brought from Lagankhel to Jawalakhel. On the occasion, employees of the Guthi Sansthan displayed the Bhoto, while President Poudel also had darshan of the living Devi Kumari along with Rato Machhindranath.
Machhindranath is considered a food giver, a god who brings rain, and a god who fights against misfortune and famine. That is why it has cultural, religious and historical significance.
