52 children from these families are of school age. 4 people have given SEE this year. They want to learn skills like computers and sewing. Dhakal informed that KMC has made a plan to arrange the skill-based training they want. He said that 30 parents of school-age students want to keep their children in the hostel. According to Sushil Subedi, Senior Branch Officer of KMC Education Department, 11 girls and 19 boys are interested in staying in the hostel. According to Subedi, the students have also been asked for the necessary clothing and educational materials. He said that KMC has already requested through PABSON, NPABSON and HISAN for studies with accommodation facilities in the hostel. According to KMC Director Basanta Acharya, after receiving a suggestion that it is appropriate to keep only 10-year-old children in the hostel, efforts are being made to manage accordingly.
KMC Acting Chief Sunita Dangol on Sunday requested PABSON and NPABSON officials to arrange free education in institutional schools with accommodation facilities for children in the holding center.
