A team of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested him on Tuesday while accepting a bribe from a service recipient for facilitating the return of the money of the declarant in a banking offence case and for the purpose of settling the case.
He was taken into custody from Gahana Pokhari in Ward No. 5 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City along with the bribe money and a mobile phone, said CIAA spokesperson Suresh Neupane.
