A woman has died after a brick kiln wall collapsed in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur.
A 55-year-old woman from Rukum, Tilsari Khadka, died after being crushed by the wall when the brick kiln wall collapsed in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-28, on Sunday. Khadka, who was seriously injured after the wall collapsed, died during treatment at the Medicity Hospital in Thaimba, Deputy Superintendent of Police Purnima Kumari Chand said.
Four people were injured in the incident. The injured include Janaki Chand, 27, a resident of Rukum and a worker at the same brick kiln, Shanti Kunwar, 27, from Salyan, Nanda Kumari Magar, 46, from Rolpa, and Suma Kumal, 19, from Dang. The seriously injured Chand has been taken to Model Hospital for further treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Chand.
