Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that power will be cut in various places in Kathmandu today.
The authority has issued a notice stating that power will be cut in various places under the Gothatar and Battisputali feeders. The 11 kV line distributed by both feeders under the jurisdiction of the NEA's Baneshwor Distribution Center in PepsiCola, Town Planning and other areas is being repaired.
Power will be cut in PepsiCola, Town Planning areas from 11 am to 1:30 pm for the repair of dilapidated poles and new connections.
Similarly, power will be cut in Central Baneshwor, Old Baneshwor, Battisputali areas from 2 pm to 4 pm, the notice states. If the work is completed before the specified time, power will be operated regularly. The NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers due to the power cut.
