Police have arrested a person with mobile phones and laptops worth Rs 1.38 million from Tribhuvan International Airport and made them public on Friday. The arrested person is Sanjeev Khadka, 34, of Lalbandi Municipality-1, Sarlahi, informed Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Silwal.
He said, "While monitoring the situation outside the Golden Gate of Tribhuvan International Airport, he was arrested while he was trying to illegally collect and transport electronic goods by asking passengers arriving in Nepal from foreign countries to evade customs."
