Three people have died in road accidents in various areas of Kathmandu.
According to Nepal Police Central Spokesperson Abinarayan Kafle, they died in accidents in Sukedhara, Gokarneshwor and Babarmahal in Kathmandu. Rahul Shrestha, 18, of Dhading, Guheshwari, Tarakeshwor Municipality-4, died today when a motorcycle with the registration number Ba.Pr. 02-061 Pa 7233 lost control and crashed on the road in Babarmahal, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11.
He was seriously injured in the accident that occurred on Thursday night and died today at the Teaching Hospital. Similarly, Milan Yonjan, 23, of Sankhuwasabha, Kavresthali, Kathmandu, died after being hit by a tipper with the registration number Pr. 2-03-001 Kha 7034 on the road in Sukedhara Chowk, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4.
Police said he was seriously injured in the accident and died at the Teaching Hospital during treatment. The police have taken the tipper driver into custody.
Similarly, the motorcycle driver Ram Bahadur Tamang, 26, of Nuwakot, Tokha, Kathmandu, who was seriously injured when his motorcycle (Ba.73 Pa 1228) lost control and crashed into a road at Gokarneshwor Municipality-8, Gokarna Janasahara Chowk, died during treatment.
Police said that he was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at the National Trauma Center.
