The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is going to cut electricity in various places in Kathmandu today. The authority has announced that it is going to cut electricity in various places under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center through a notification.
The Kathmandu Valley Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project is working to underground the distribution system of the President's House, Sheetal Niwas. Similarly, the power cut is going to be done for the installation of technical equipment in the cables that have already been completed underground.
According to the authority, the power cut will be in the areas around the Panipokhari feeder in front of the Shangri-La Hotel, Lazimpat, various areas of Panipokhari, Maharajgunj, and Bibhuvan University Teaching Hospital from 11 am to 2 pm today.
Similarly, the power cut will also be in the areas around the President's House, the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police, and the Nepal Police Hospital from 11 am to 2 pm.
According to the information, the power cut will also be in the areas around Baluwatar, Chundevi, and Panchakanya for the same period. The authority has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the power cut. The authority has mentioned that if the specified work is completed before the scheduled time, power supply can be restored even earlier.
