The government has formed a team to hold talks with Dr. Nicholas Bhusal, who is on hunger strike.

The government formed a negotiation committee on Thursday under the coordination of the Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Ajay Bhadra Khanal to hold talks with Dr. Bhusal, who has been on a hunger strike for 10 days, with five demands including taking action against those responsible for the incidents that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24, amending the constitution and abolishing the National Assembly and provincial structures, and implementing a direct executive Prime Minister election system. 

The members of the negotiation committee include Govinda Narayan Timilsina, Public Relations Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. Bhishma Kumar Bhusal, Joint Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and Ishwar Raj Poudel, Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. 

Dr. Bhusal, who has been on a hunger strike in Maitighar Mandala, was admitted to Bir Hospital for treatment on Wednesday after he developed health problems. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal had reached Bir Hospital on Wednesday and inquired about the health condition of Dr. Bhusal, who is on a hunger strike.
