Two people die in separate accidents in Kathmandu

The driver, Avi Shrestha of Khandadevi Rural Municipality-3, Ramechhap, died when a motorcycle (Ba Pr02-052 Pa 5402) heading towards Budhanilkantha from the ring road met with an accident on the road at Golfutar Chowk in Budhanilkantha Municipality-7 on Tuesday.

Two people have died in accidents that occurred in two separate locations in Kathmandu.

On Tuesday, the motorcycle (Ba Pr02-052 Pa 5402) heading towards Budhanilkantha from the ring road on the road at Golfutar Chowk in Budhanilkantha Municipality-7, died when its driver, Abi Shrestha of Khandadevi Rural Municipality-3, Ramechhap.

The injured person died during treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, informed Nepal Police Central Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police Abi Narayan Kafle.

Similarly, today, one person died in an accident when an EV vehicle (Bagmati Province 01-001 Ya 1743) and a motorcycle (Ba 91 Pa 7564) collided head-on on the road at Teku in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12. 

The deceased is the motorcycle driver, 30-year-old Deepak Bajgain of Bethanchowk Rural Municipality-2 in Kavre, police said. He was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at the National Trauma Center.
