A woman who was injured when a truck (Ga2Kha 2039) hit a motorcycle (Bapra 02-061 Pa 5847) in Balkhu, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14, has died during treatment.
Roshika Neupane, 26, a resident of Nuwakot, who was riding a motorcycle, died during treatment at the Veterans Hospital in Balkhu, informed Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi.
'This morning, Neupane, who was riding the motorcycle, was seriously injured when a truck hit her. She died during treatment today,' he said.
Similarly, the motorcycle driver who was injured in the accident is being treated at the Veterans Hospital. The police have taken the truck driver into custody and further investigation is underway, said spokesperson Subedi.
