Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, informed that 45-year-old Rajiv Sinha, a resident of Gaur in Rautahat district, died in the accident.
Five vehicles collided at a single location near UN Park in Lalitpur, Kathmandu, around 4 pm on Thursday.
Rajiv Sinha, 45, of Gaur, Rautahat district, died in the accident, said Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi. According to him, Sinha, the driver of the scooter (Ba 51 Pa 9569), who was seriously injured in the accident, died at Norvic Hospital during treatment.
The scooter was accompanied by a private van (Ba Pra 01-029 Cha 3896) coming from Kupandol, a car (Ba Pra 01-022 Cha 0061), a car (Ba 2 Ja 4760) coming from the opposite direction, and a van (Ba Pra 01-029). The police said that the incident is being investigated.
