As documents and investigation files in various police offices in Kathmandu were burnt due to the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24, the details of the victims and petitioners have been requested to be provided.
According to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Information Officer of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, during the protests in the Kathmandu Valley, various police units were set on fire and vandalized, and as a result, the documents and details of the petitioners and victims have been destroyed.
The police say that if those documents are available, it will be easier to proceed with the investigation process smoothly. The police have requested that those documents be made available to the nearest concerned circle and the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
