The Valley Traffic Police 'Control Room', which was burned during the Genji protests on Bhadra 23 and 24, was reconstructed and handed over on Tuesday.

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) reconstructed the traffic police control room and handed it over to the Chief of the Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari and Additional Inspector General of Police, Dan Bahadur Karki, during a program today by the International Coordination Council Chairman of the association, Mahesh Kumar Shrestha, and the Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Disaster Management Committee, Manoj Kumar Shrestha.

Chairman Shrestha informed that the equipment installed in this project has been managed keeping in mind the long term.

Valley Police Chief Karki expressed gratitude to the association. He said, 'The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRN) has reconstructed the traffic police control room that was burned during the protest and handed it over to us today. We are happy. We need to teach our children not to damage the structures that are necessary for everyone.'
