Medicines sold and distributed against standards seized

It was found that Takshak Pharmacy located in Basundhara, Tokha Municipality-5, was selling and distributing medicines in violation of the standards that require the sale and distribution of medicines with a doctor's permission.

A team from Maharajgunj Police Circle has seized drugs that were being sold and distributed against standards.

Based on a tip-off that the Takshak Pharmacy in Tokha Municipality-5, Basundhara, was selling and distributing medicines that were not in accordance with the standards for sale and distribution with a doctor's permission, 385 tablets labeled Spain, 750 tablets labeled Anticof, 100 tablets labeled Pregabalin, 200 capsules labeled Pregabalin capsules LP, and 100 capsules labeled Pregamer 75 were seized, informed Police Inspector Laxman Devkota of Circle Maharajgunj. 

The pharmacy was found to be operated by 40-year-old Prakash Gautam of Sankhuwasabha Khadwari Municipality-8, and the police said that the sale was in accordance with the standards when coordinating with the Drug Management Department.
