Amit Putuwar, who was injured in a motorcycle accident on the Chisapani road section of Tarkeshwor Municipality-3, Kathmandu, has died during treatment.
Naresh Raj Subedi, spokesperson and Superintendent of Police of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, informed RSS that 26-year-old Putuwar, a resident of Pusal, Tarkeshwor Municipality, died this morning while undergoing treatment at the local city hospital.
He said, 'At around 3:45 in the morning, a motorcycle (B.P. 02-053 Pa 9679) coming from Tinpiple towards Dharmasthali under the road section at Tarkeshwor-3 Chisapani lost control and hit an electric pole. The driver, Putuwar, who was seriously injured, died while undergoing treatment at the City Hospital Tarkeshwor.'
Samir Putuwar, 20, of Tarkeshwor Municipality-3, who was riding the same motorcycle, suffered injuries to his hands, legs, head and chest and was sent to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for further treatment on the advice of a doctor, informed Spokesperson Subedi.
